Aluminum & Zinc Castings

Our in-house foundry uses custom presses and controls designed and built in our facility. This allows us to experiment with new techniques - keeping us one level above our competitors. Our foundry casts primarily in A356.2 and ZA-12 alloys. Using gravity pour, we hand ladle the molten alloy into the graphite mold, producing less turbulence and decreasing the amount of porosity.

A356.2 has great heat transfer properties. Once heat treated, it has very similar characteristics to A380 die cast alloys. ZA-12’s strength and bearing properties can eliminate bushings, wear inserts and hard coat processing.
